All dogs require regular Nail Trimming.  This is a service which is included in your haircut at A Royal Touch.  But don't leave it all for us if you visit us infrequently!  Nail trimming should be performed every four weeks.  If not, the nail will grow and affect the dogs walking ability not to mention it can curve around and perforate the dogs' pad or leg.  This can cause a pocket of infection which if left untreated may result in the loss of a toe.  Long toenails can catch on furniture or carpet and break.
